If you'd like to add some extra vegetables to your recipes, that's not a problem. We'd recommend sticking to greens or simple salads on the side to make sure the recipes still work well.
It's also best to steam or boil any extra veg to avoid using additional cooking fats, and limit dressings too. This will make sure your meals are still accurately tailored to you.
If you're feeling hungry, then an extra piece of fresh fruit here and there isn't an issue.
